Maple Sausage Breakfast Skillet
Here’s a family-friendly maple sausage breakfast recipe using R Family Farms' maple sausage:
Ingredients:
1 lb R Family Farms maple breakfast sausage
4 medium potatoes, diced
1 bell pepper, diced (red, green, or yellow for color)
1 small onion, diced
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 large eggs
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Cook the sausage:
In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Crumble R Family Farms' maple sausage into the skillet and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.Prepare the potatoes:
In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Toss in the diced potatoes and cook over medium heat until golden brown and crispy, about 10-12 minutes. Stir occasionally for even cooking.Add the veggies:
